How much do you guys who have them use them in a hunting situation and who's do you recommend?
I kinda got an urge to get one...

I love them just because they are unique. You can do soft talk on pots just by covering the holes. I love the ones Marlin Watkins makes. They will get pretty dang loud too. Jimmy schaffers tear drop is pretty good too.(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190309/f86d7b771c0d414c1ff85cc1be1792c8.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190309/e99a48480323e247d6306647f2879fc6.jpg)

Marlin Watkins coaxer, Sadler Mcgraw slate purr pot and Dino Tipton its hard to describe its an unfinished pot call and you play the back of the call the purrs on that call are unreal
I have a Sadler McGraw Cluck and Purr pot and it will probably be with me on every hunt I go on. It's flat out deadly!
I've heard a bunch and they all sound pretty good.
To answer how much I use them? Never
:I had a Sneed tree talker that sounded great. I never did take it hunting.

That's actually one I'm interested in I've listened to several clips of it and sounds very realistic.

You oughta hear Schafer tear drop than. My buddy had a woodhaven that sounded real good too
Roger Parkers tree talker killer
Roger Parks tree talker and Brad Roberts Cedar soft talker slate are both great .
A scratch box or trough call will also do a fine job.
I have two Roger Parks Cedar & Walnut And these three . Probably had the three for 20 years . Made by Tilburg Outdoor Products. They were called Limb Talkers.

It is very realistic. Lonnie is probably still making them.
I have heard the parks is great too but haven't played one myself.
Marlin Watkins coaxer and Brad Roberts pure death are both awesome. Grizz Friction wood is an awesome soft talker also.

Ordering a call from Lonnie is worth the call. He always has a couple of cool stories.
You will be the Tennessee turkey whisperer with the tree talker. Lol
I had a schaffer tear drop but never used it. I run scratch boxes more then pots and they do soft stuff great and mouth call covers me with more versatility.
