remington chokes

does anyone know if all remington chokes have the same threads? i need to know if a 870 choke is the same as an 1187 choke.

Not all Remington chokes have the same threads. They have one called a Pro Choke (or something like that) but the 870 and the 1187, as well as the threaded barrels on a 1100 do

As has been said, all Rem-Choke thread are the same but the Pro-Bore barrels on the Versa Max takes a different choke.

There were also some very early Remington shotguns that were factory threaded for Briley "long chokes".
