Title: Limited choke options
Post by: tha bugman on January 18, 2016, 05:32:28 AM
Looking in my Midwest catalog at the choke tubes for my H&R.  Options seem limited, but I was either going with a Jebs or Kicks.  Any other suggestions or comments on one of these.  They are both .685 constructions. Probably shoot lead since I have quit a bit of it.

I have a Kicks Gobbling Thunder in .690 constriction and it does pretty good with Federal Heavyweight 7s. Doesn't do too bad with Winchester lead 5s either. I also have an Indian Creek in .690 constriction and it does good with Mag Blends. I have heard and read nothing but great things about Jebs and I will be getting one of those also most likely.

FYI...   there is a Kicks Gobbling Thunder .690 in the Choke tube classifieds for $45 right now. Great deal
