Post by: Spellnj3 on September 10, 2021, 12:59:45 PM
My 14 year old son started learning taxidermy and he needs two turkey heads to try and mount the two he shot this year.  Any help would be appreciated!!

Freeze dried head. Buy one from Hazel Creek or another taxidermy shop.

Almost any taxidermy supply company has foam ones for sale, you can get them painted or unpainted. Someone on this site had some listed in the miscellanies classified within the last year. They had quite a few, maybe they still have them, try the search function.

I saved one this spring but my taxi didn't need it. I can't remember if I kept it or not. I'll check and see.
