very likely that this HSUS? misrepresented their intent or core value, or persuaded some sympathetic executive into thinking they were going to save the humpback whale or something - This artist may have been tricked into it
They sell these big donations to firms as a tax write off - I suggest you email the record label company and let them know you will be shopping another label unless they stop payment on the check , tell them to give to United Way , Red Cross etc... I do

I can't believe some of yall didn't know this about her. Several years ago she was suppose to sing @ a St. Jude benefit, when she found out it was a benefit hunt she canceled. Been done with her for years, this is nothing new for her!
A lot of us have known about her from the start...amazing what a ton of makeup can do to enhance a individuals looks...sad this doesn't work on ones ability to reason.

Well I didn't know and I guess the reason I didn't know is because the word hasn't been spread to Hunters good enough. Now I do know and I will not support her in any way! I damn sure ain't gonna buy a ticket or album knowing that any portion of my money is going to an organization that wants to take away a very passionate part of my life! She or anybody else is NOT worth it!

Someone I know had one of those HS hunting collection DVD's and some of the promo staff hunted with Blake and Miranda on his property in OK. She was baking cakes and wanting to kill turkeys. From a distance, she seems like a pretty well rounded woman.

It's actually old news that Carrie Underwood is a supporter of HSUS and Peta. She has long supported so-called animal rights groups.
I kinda think she really doesn't know what these groups are really about. If she does, then all of the other country music stars that are pro-hunting should call her out on it and refuse to work with her.
At any rate........I change the radio station when she comes on. I won't listen to her or let the wife listen to her in my truck.

It would be interesting to know if her perspective has changed since that time. If her husband is a hunter, it would be hard for me to believe that she still has the same outlook about things. Then, too, a lot of well-meaning folks donate money to these groups to "save dogs and cats",...and have no idea that their money is being spent to try to eliminate our way of life. ...That is a shame.
