Looking at either the Carlson's LB choke(.665) or a Kick's Gobbling Thunder(could go .655 or .665). Typically just shoot 3" lead 6s and am just looking for a 40yard and in gun. Any advice? I've heard that Benellis shoot better with .660-650 chokes.

.650 Carlson's.
My SBE Steady grip with 24 inch barrel shoots great with Rob Roberts 660. Handles everything Federal Heavyweight, Winchester Longbeards, Magnum Blend, and Fed 3rd degree. Versatile, consistent choke. Had great patterns with Sumtoy 660 too. Best of luck...
I have a crio choked benelli also. Have had great patterns with a Sumtoy .650 and various loads. It shines with standard lead ammo and shoots hevi shot well also. I do think something in the .650-.660 are real good in the benelli. Check out the benelli pattern pick section, lots of useful info on it. I have a .665 gobbling thunder i have tried in my Vinci with 3" ammo, it puts up really even patterns, but it is pretty thin at 40 yrds with conventional lead ammo. It shoots the win longbeards well though. If i were to get the Gobbling thunder i would try the .655-.660 for lead ammo before the .665, at least in a benelli crio.
Thanks guys. Ordered a .655 Gobblin Thunder and will add some pictures to the pattern page once I get it in.

Good luck.......
Cool! Looking forward to seeing your results. Can't wait to do some patterning myself, hoping to have some good pics posted soon.
