Taken on November 17th at the beginning of a SW Michigan November blizzard, which accumulated18". Shot at 90 yards with my 350 Legend using Winchester 150 grain bullet. Had to gut him in my garage as the wind and snow were too intense, the lines in the deer picture is blowing snow. The 8point (3&5) weighed 248 before gutting, definitely the biggest bodied deer I've taken. The 350 Legend and other straight wall cartridges have transformed the south zone of Michigan that used to be shotgun only. Much better accuracy and distance than 12 gauge slugs. I've had 7 one shot kills using the 350 at several different angles.

I was very worried about the snow covering up the blood trail so I only gave him 10 minutes before starting. He was down 10 yards from where I shot him.
