25" barrel with sleeved/soldered fixed .690 choke, Remington Nitro 2.75"x 4's, 40yds, 73*.

I have one with a factory 30" full choke barrel and it's dynamite with Winchester HV 5's and 6's!

You're pattern is nice

Thanks for your kind words! This was one of my father in law's guns that started its life as a 30" full too,
but the barrel got plugged by mud while he was hunting and he unknowingly pulled the trigger. He went home and sawed off the end and kept hunting, as the story goes! Years later, I convinced him to have a friend repair it. The 40 yd pattern is probably pushing this particular load's ability, but I've killed them with less! I am rotating this prized gun into my hunt this season and will be thrilled to carry it!!!  :camohat:

I would maybe try some 5s or 6s to get your numbers up. But that is a good pattern.
