Post by: econo on March 05, 2011, 10:20:07 AM
Anybody ever use the hevi shot brand choke tube? I was told there made by Indian creek and they are about 20-30$ cheaper. I got one for my 835 cons. 676

My 870 patterned that choke similar to the JH.

I've shot all the models now and they do a good job. I've only shot Hevi-13 through them at this point however. If the rains ever stop here, I hope to try some other shells as well.

It's a well made choke of 17-4 stainless, with wad slowing rings, ported, a good dull black finish and well marked so you can easily read the exit diameter.

It is made by Carlson's to Hevi-Shot specifications.

Thanks,
Clark
