Here is a scratchbox I just finished for my friend dave Smith ( gitzit69 ) . Dave sent me some wood a few months ago and this is what I made with it so far. This call is made from bay laurel that Dave cut along the road in Cali. Dave has a knack for finding great looking burl woods . It has wormy olive wood for the ends and purpleheart for the inlays and soundboards . The base is purpleheart and maple . The striker is purpleheart, bay laurel and olive wood over ipe . If you would like to get a scratchbox, let me know . Thanks for looking !
