So, last year I did close to $400 worth of testing with my 12ga 28" SBE2. I ran the gamut of all the latest chokes and shells, in every combo possible for the materials I had. I won't go through the mundane and get strait to the meat and taters.
The best last year was 3.5" Hevi 13, 7s with the ported Hevi Choke by Carlson...giving me a whopping 346 pellets in the 10"@40yrds.
Well, I went to war with the Gobz and won but did manage one soft hit on a king bird and lost him. This had me thinking I would switch to 5,6,7bend. I also purchased the Indian Creek and tested it against the last seasons test. Granted the lots# are different and I'm not switching to 5,6,7 but wanted to post my results of the IC.
Moral of the story- IC was out shot by the Carlson Hevi choke according to numbers.
Carlson Hevi-346
IC-330
I don't think it's a big deal for 16 pellets

Not bad.i could live with that pattern
Screwed out the Indian creek and replaced the Hevi ported by Carlson for hunting...probably sell the IC blackdiamond.
Ordered the new Hevi-18 TSS in 7s, will run a series of tests and post results.
But first, Time for hunting...
