Glad to see this, I have that choke and plan to run the Rogue 1&5/8oz thru. If I get results similar I'll hunt that.

I'd assume it would be pretty dang close!

Me too, same gun and choke different shell. I hunted a carlsons. 575 and federal 1.5oz last season. It was a very good pattern maybe a bit too good for my nerves with a tom gobbling in my face at 20-25yds. I'll post it up when I run it.

I ran the exact same set up last year with almost identical results. You will love it and kill whatever you shoot at.

Franchi Affinity 3 /.585 Trulock / Rogue 1&5/8ths #9's / 40 yds. = 240 in 10" & 160 in 20" or 400 in 20". I Iiked it.(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220314/eaa03e2327d900de2f21933baf57f29a.jpg)

Looks like you guys have hit on a good combination of gun, choke and shells........now let's see the pictures of those toms when you shoot them. Good luck.   :fud:   :OGani:

Thanks man! Just bought one as well...perfect pattern for me as I want it not to be like a rifle up close but be a good hunting pattern at 40-50

This was my purpose as well, you're still gonna need to bear down and aim tight at 20 but I wanted more wiggle room for ragged nerves in that 30-40 yard range where I typically take shots.

All right Jordan, this is your official warning...my wife hates you, you cost me lots of money...JK...just ordered F A 3 Elite, .585 choke and a green dot. Will hopefully get some rounds thru it this weekend, if everything shows up.

Jordan did you even try shooting with chokes that come with gun? If you did was there much difference with POI / POA with different chokes. I will not have a lot of shells to waste sighting gun in twice, hoping they are close.
