3" is all you need. Lots of 870s seem to do well with .660 to .665 chokes.
The choke decision will depend more so on the shell your wanting to shoot.. nice gun congrats...
If its like mine I use the Rem Predator/Turkey choke that came with it and works like a charm with Win Longbeards 3"6's. Also heard IC .665 Rem choke works very good also with Win Longbeards. Nice gun you will like it. Easy to carry in the woods, don't hang up on branches or in set up. :OGturkeyhead:
Nice rig......beauty congrats
Find a Remington Ventilator!!
Nice. It's hard to beat Indian Creek .665 in Remington's. Hard to say how much. I bought a used one last year $375.
I have the same gun and love it.

$375? I hate to say what I paid.
I paid $325 for mine but it was not camo and had a regular stock. I would think those would add $200-$300 more.
If it doesn't already, buy a Remington super cell recoil pad. They run $20-$25 and you will tame that cannon down. I have one on a BDL in 7 mag. and it recoil about like a .243.
There is a Remington express very similar with a black action right now on gunbroker. Brand new in box. Bid up to $505 now. Same stock.
all i can say is if yall find theses for $350.00 ill take all you got :funnyturkey:
'Tis a fine turkey getter. Indian Creek for mine. Never patterned the choke that came with it, have plans to get out patterning in the next couple weeks.
Sold the truglo and topped with a vx-1 with turkey plex reticle. :OGturkeyhead:
Ill go with the IC then guys thanks . That's what I'm running on my 20 gauge and its pretty dang sweet
Changed my mind and ordered a Sumtoy .660. should be able to try it in a day or two. Problem is ,with the ammo prices I cant really do the kind of testing i want.
