I'm setting up a new 11-87 20ga. I'm shooting hand rolled 1 5/8oz #7.5s and #9s. I'm looking for the tightest pattern that I can get at 40 yards.
What choke tube and constriction have y'all used to get these results in this shotgun?
Thanks

jebs 560 and ic 555
Thanks for the suggestions. I'll post a pic of said gun to hopefully make up for my elementary question.
I have same exact gun. Put a indian creek 555 in it and itll do what your asking. I personally wouldn't go below 562 and 570 would be even better for a even 20 inch pattern. When you miss with the super tight pattern youll understand my thoughts.

Yep, I've got the same rig and have tried the Sumtoy 562, Jh 570, Carlson 575, Remington SF, and Truloc 585. The IC 555 did the best.

The 11-87 is on the left and 870 on the right.

Thanks, Big Rack.
The IC .562 was the ticket. I got 199 pellets in a 10" circle at 40 yds. It's a great pattern.
I was able to kill a turkey with my new 11-87 the other day. It did a great job.
I shoot an 11-87 w a 21" bbl. I am feeding it 3" Federal HWT 7s.
Tried multiple chokes and found that Carlson LongBeard .568 by far threw the best patterns consistently 168 to 190 in a 10" @ 40 yds. and the 20 yd pattern was not too tight
But I'm not shooting TSS 9s

Sounds awesome. I'm shooting #7.5s in mine. I'm really liking this shotgun.
