Title: Who's watching the fight tomorrow?

Predictions?

I am just because. More excited about Triple G and Canelo though! I'll just echo what everyone else is pretty much saying. Mayweather by KO somewhere around round 5-7. McGregor won't touch him solidly and when he wears down, Mayweather will go to work as per usual. That all said it would be fairly entertaining to see McGregor get flustered and resort to a scissor kick to arm bar combo before anyone could blink.

I'm thinking its gonna be a fight... But Mayweather will likely take the upper hand.

I'm gonna be watching it and might make a small wager on it as well....

Anyone wanna gamble calls?

I am. I predict McGregor gets disqualified. so frustrated that he can't land a punch, lock up with Floyd and end up throwing a knee out of basic instict.

Are you old enough to remember the last time Mayweather knocked out someone?  :TooFunny:

I think Mcgreggor is going to be so different from anything Mayweather has ever seen that he may just have a chance. It only takes one. I can't stand Mayweather so I hope he gets rocked.

How could he be different? Its boxing not MMA.  He made Canelo look ridiculous.  McGregor has taken the ring without ever fighting a professional boxing match in his life.  Let alone he is facing the most defensive boxer of our generation. I really dont care who wins but I think McGregor has taken more than he can chew here. I mean he can only use 1 weapon, not his entire arsenal. We will find out soon enough.

The cheap shot against Ortiz? Was fairly young at the ripe age of 21 for that one, but do remember it.  I don't claim to know much about boxing. Dad has always watched so I've always tuned in and keep up with it fairly regularly. I'm having to side with nsselle here. McGregor is outclassed in this one...I personally don't care for either of them at the end of the day. Just my 2 cents that's usually not worth too much! Haha

I saw today that one of the bigger betting lines is for the fight to end in a DQ. It would not surprise me one bit to see Mayweather run him to death for a while...McGreggor gets frustrated, then hauls off and kicks him.

That would be fine by me

I'll never give Mayweather credit for the cheapshot KO vs Ortiz in 2011. Prior to that, his last KO was in 2007 (when he was 31, not knocking on 41). I don't see him KO'ing Conor (he might but I just don't see it). If it goes 12, he will outpoint Conor no doubt about that. The only shot Conor has is if Mayweather gets stupid and takes the fight to Conor early on. That's when Conor could possibly catch him with a strong left counter. Personally, I think Mayweather will keep PLENTY of distance between him and Conor for 6 or 7 rounds in hopes of Conor's stamina not holding out. He has a chance to make history as the first boxer to retire 50-0. IMO he will not/should not take that kind of risk when he knows he will "out-box" him in the long run. Still, EVERY OUNCE of me is hoping that Conor will beat the brakes off of Mayweather's woman-beating self!!!

BTW, I'd love to see him head kick Mayweather but there's no way he does that knowing a 7 FIGURE FINE awaits him if he does.

I'm pretty sure I'll be watching. Hopefully for that kind of money it lasts more than a couple rounds. I'd have to bet on Mayweather(strickly by his record and its boxing)..Knockout in the 3rd or 4th,but hope it goes longer and McGregor proves me wrong and gives him a beat down.....

I'm an MMA fan so I'm certainly pulling for McGregor.  With that said MMA guys fight from a greater distance than boxers. A decent boxer should be able to evade a good puncher with an MMA background. Their punches come from a long way off compared to boxers.

I would dearly love to see McGregor knock him out and then after the fight is over, choke Floyd out just to add insult to injury.

At the reported amount of minimum payouts of $100 million +... I'd fight either one of them for 1/2 that, and it might be just as entertaining watching me run away for as many rounds as possible until I got hit - ONCE.

Smart money is on Mayweather though he will win decision and not knockout. He will dance the ring and land punches for points as he can. It will get interesting if McGregor lands a power punch and how Mayweather responds to it. McGregor has shown he can takes some licks, but he has to pick his strikes and not just go swinging for the fence every time. We will see, but I am not watching it.

I know no one really gives McGregor a chance- but I think he may pull an upset tonight. You cant overlook his heavier bone structure and much stronger legs and glutes. Boxers usually have real thin legs  and MayWeather has them too. MMA fighters are built in the lower body as I think every one here knows. Still MayWeather is much faster and seemingly never gets hit. I really think Conor McGregor pulls this upset off with his uppercut. Wish I could afford to watch.

This is the easiest fight of Mayweather's illustrious career. He will prove untouchable and make McGregor look like a fish out of water. Absolutely no contest here.

Just kidding, but I want be shelling out $100 to watch it.I would rather use that hundred to buy a call I can keep for more than a few minutes, the length of a fight. They'll make that hundred million off someone besides me.

Well, Conor didn't score the early KO like I hoped but a lot of the "boxing elites" are having to eat crow that Conor was very competitive up until the 9th and 10th rds. He had WAAAAYYYY more success and lasted MUCH longer vs Floyd in his world than Floyd would vs. him in the octagon.

Went about like I expected.  First few rounds Mayweather was just kind of figuring McGregor out.  Then picked him apart.  I think I'm the only one who wanted Mayweather to win.  I don't particularly like either one, but for some reason can't find myself rooting for McGregor.

I didn't see the fight. Wasn't gonna spend that kinda money on pay per view. I heard McGregor did better than expected.
In a real fight he'd kill Mayweather.
Like to see them switch roles now and see if Mayweather gets out of the first round. Answer is not a chance but McGregor asked for this and I figured it'd go like I heard it did.
