Reflexl, hasn't updated the running scores in 5 days, so I'm not sure.
But per his current post, we've roared up the charts from last place to 3rd!!! :funnyturkey:
Congrats to everyone who has scored or upgraded. We're back in contention with 2 more gobblers still to fill, along with any upgrades!  :icon_thumright: Hit the woods and keep up the good work brothers!! :police: : firefighter:

Quote from: Turkeybutt on May 05, 2024, 05:11:43 AMCongrats Dougas on tagging out.
I understand how you feel. After waiting all year with anticipation to hunt these beautiful birds to tag out the first two of three days is bittersweet.

I knew I wasn't going to get many days to hunt after the first two week ends, so I decided to make the most of it.

It was a good season.  Time to fish and catch up on honey-do's and my own projects before summer sets in for real.  I try to lay low in July and August, just too danged hot to do much.

There seems to be more hunters everywhere you go.  Florida public land was absolutely covered up with out of staters this spring.  I believe the reduced limits are forcing guys that really like to hunt to travel to be able to get in more quality hunts. And unless states put a restriction on OOS hunters like Mississippi did, it's probably going to get worse as a good majority of the states have or are looking at reducing the limit.

Way more hunters in Missouri and Arkansas in the places I always hunt.
