Title: 835 constriction question

will a 676 be to tight for 3in 2oz magblends out of my 20in barrel 835? :thanks:

I don't think so.  

I think .670 or .675 are two of the best exit diameters for chokes on the 835 guns.  That's been what I have seen so far.  But as Clark has always said, internal geometry of a choke makes up a bigger part of the equation when talking about how a choke will shoot than exit diameter.  But having said that, you can have the geometry, and if your not around these exit diameters your patterns more than likely won't be as tight as they could be.  No bigger than .680 would be my biggest exit diameter I would want in my choke on the 835 for optimum patterns with Hevi-13 loads.  That's not saying you can't still have some good patterns with a .690 choke, but more than likely your 10" and 20" numbers at 40yds won't be as good vs these tighter constrictions.
