....After finally getting moved a county over, finished my turkey season, and set up a new shop. The set on the left is going to a real north GA turkey slayer (Cohutta Strutter on here). There is about a six month wait at this time unfortunately. I am very thankful and blessed to have received second and fifth place at the Grand Nationals this year in the hunting call division and I appreciate all the support from members and word of mouth since I don't do Facebook or a website. PM me with any questions.
Thanks for looking.

Kentuckyheadhunter,
We're you at Unicoi this year?
I've been the last two years but do not have a table.
Well, I may have met you or saw someone with one of your calls. They were really nice calls and sounded phenomenal. Im glad you posted this heading because your calls are unique and full of turkey!
Glad to hear you're back up and running. I sure enjoy my Chattahoochee Chatterbox!
Thank you Mike and Clardh, I really appreciate the kind words.
Some nice one's Allen!
Very nice Allen ! Knew I had to have them after messing around with the one you made for Anthony. Superb calls and to know they are being crafted locally makes it even more meaningful for me. Allen, it will be an honor and pleasure to hunt them. Thank you !
Great bunch of calls Allen.

Thank you Al, Rickey, and Mike. I'm very humbled. David I appreciate what you said and I hope you will be pleased. Quite a few birds were killed this year with them. I will be happy to help with playing tips if you need any.

I have one on order. As soon as I saw the design, I knew I had to have one. Just the name is enough to make you buy one. Then you see it and you think, "What a unique design..." Then you hear it..."Gotta' have one!"
My question...I seem to recall hearing or seeing something that made me think there may be a few iterations or models. Is this so?

As far as the 'hooch boxes' go there are two models. Regular and XL. I also make other scratchers but these get the best results so far.
Nice work as always Allen. One of these days I'll get back to building a few scratchers.
Love mine. Looks great, sounds better. Favorite scratchbox to date.
Very nice Allen! Maybe I can get one from you at the next Unicoi. Always a pleasure to talk to you there.
Congrats

What's the difference between the regular and the XL aside from the obvious, size?
The XL has more volume and depth. A more mature hen sound. It fits better in my hand and it's what I prefer to hunt personally with. I have made way fewer of the XL version.
Hey Allen, just wanted to update and send out a praise. After finally getting to spend time running the scratchboxes you made me I can say I really like them. I have to admit the XL takes it up a notch mainly in volume but it also is such an easy playing and responsive call. I don't know exactly what you did to bring out the turkey in that call but you did a fantastic job with it ! I have several scratchboxes from several call makers that are often mentioned and recommended on this site and based off that I can say you have a very good thing going with the design of your calls. Great job and I hope you continue on with it. David.
