Jet lathe?

you'll probably burn the motor up .....not all motors are built to handle v/s set up.....it will work but only for a short while......

get a Leeson motor and a v/s box....

Thanks for getting back to me.The motor is a vs motor with 5 speeds and a variable type switch,I see there are foot pedals available but are they variable or just on/off.Thanks.
