Title: Gobbling question
Post by: MS on April 12, 2011, 02:25:48 PM
Dr. Williams:

I know that multiple factors influence gobbling, including wind, barometric pressure, hunting pressure, point in the breeding season, etc.  My question is this:  Why on one day will you hear multiple gobblers on the roost and ground, from well before sunrise until mid-day, then, the very next day with almost identical weather, barometric pressure, etc., go to the same spot and hear nothing?

Thanks.
Mike

MS,

That has been a mystery to me too.
