I have a black locust striker that sounds great on all my pot calls. I understand there is also a honey locust. Are the sounds similar?
My honey locust is not dry yet. I doubt it though

Thanks, out of curiosity what would you use honey locust on "slate."
In my opinion , black locust sounds good on several calls. Have a honey locust and it is way down the scale in versatality. I never carry it. Again just my opinion.

Appreciate your opinion. My black locust is awesome on most all my calls. Was hoping that the honey locust would be similar. I have become weary of buying strikers that don't perform well. I currently have about twenty that are of little use but seven that perform well. So thought I would start asking folks on here what works for them.
