Tomorrow, I will begin trying to accomplish a hunting goal that will mean a lot to me. When my Grand dad passed away last May, he left me a Stevens double barrel .410 shotgun. I've always wanted to kill a bird with this gun then clean it and put it up. Today, I patterned this gun and I believe it's going to work inside 30 yds. Hopefully I'll have a picture soon of an old Jawja longbeard and my granddaddy's gun. I'll post a pic of the 20 yd pattern. I used Remington 3" #6 shot XLR load. Sounds like a great thing to do! Cannot wait to see it beside an old longbeard!

Good luck w it
No luck today. Gobbled good on the roost but hardly anything on the ground. I'll give it another shot Tuesday.

No luck today. Hunted until 11am and really never got on a single bird. Gotta go work a few days but I'll keep trying.

Don't try to hard. It will happen when it happens
You'll connect, don't worry. That .410 will put a hurtin' on one.
