Title: Dymondwood pots
Post by: callmakerman on May 14, 2019, 10:12:17 AM
Found time to turn a couple of dymondwood pots. The dymondwood was given to me so I thought I would make the best of it.  One is a 3 1/2 glass over aluminum and the other is 3 1/4 bead blasted aluminum over glass. Two great sounding calls that I just can't stop playing. The glass I'm hunting with and the aluminum goes to the person who gave me the blanks  and no I'm not back doing orders for pots. Just having some fun. Thanx for the look. (https://i.imgur.com/9usRCvG.jpg) (https://i.imgur.com/dFXFXR0.jpg) (https://i.imgur.com/cuhnA9l.jpg)

Nice! Do you have a sound file? I have a few rutland pot call blanks but haven't turned any yet.

I've turned three pots from it so far 3 1/2 glass/aluminum, 3 1/4 glass/aluminum and a 3 1/4 aluminum/glass. All sounded very nice but don't really think dymondwwod for a pot is better than anything else other than being waterproof. JMO
