Wanting the best of both worlds here but feel like somebody or something exists. Anybody ever seen a pair of clippers with a small saw blade built into maybe the handle? I know a lot of folks carry clippers but if you got a sapling that needs to go clippers are no good. Anybody seen such?
How big a sapling are you talking about cutting? I've got some EZ-Kut ratchet clippers that will cut something up to the size of a pool cue pretty quickly and quietly without much trouble.
I've also used the saw on a Swiss Army knife to take out a small tree, but it wasn't fast or without a lot of movement, so I retired that knife from turkey hunting.
