Does patterning in colder weather affect the pattern?  What's the ideal temperature to pattern your gun?

Cold weather doesn't affect TSS. But Lead is a different story... If you watch anything on YouTube watch : Blue Collar Outdoors ...They have hundreds of text patterns for turkey loads and other loads ...

60 is about ideal for optimum patterns. Best to pattern in conditions you're likely to be hunting in though.

Roughly 10 pct loss in pattern efficiency for every 30 degrees.  Obviously depends on gun. Overbored worse in cold better in warm.  More altitude always tighter.
