Earlier discussion peaked my interest in the comparison of Rutland vs Dymalux... I have been on a Rutland kick but I got to be honest I think the dymalux sounds the same..They both seem to grip and play nice too...I see on YouTube John put up a new video comparison with strikers in his design.. Take a listen!

How can that be a fair comparison when clearly the dymalux striker is heavier than the rutland?

Here you go.... Looks like the Rutland is heavier... Not trying to be unfair both are great materials. Rutland on top and dymalux on the bottom.
I'll be honest with you...to my ear, I can't tell the difference!

Yeah to my surprise I couldn't either.. I tried on a bunch of different surfaces... Don't get me wrong I like Rutland I really do.. But I like this dymalux too..
But. Still I find the Rutland is preferred by customers.

comparing rutland to dymalux sure they run the same for the first 10 strokes but that dymalux in my experience is going to just keep going down hill the more u use it unless u want to keep conditioning it ,,,,
Hard to beat Rutland
I have strikers made of Rutland and dymalux, I prefer Rutland. I closest material to Rutland I think is Webbwood PH. I have two strikers made by the same maker, same color. One is Rutland and one Webbwood PH, I can't tell them apart and I actually like the Webbwood striker a little bit better.
The Rutland striker is better it has a clear sound of the yelp to the break of the back in of the call....
Thank God the turkeys don't care!
