I work for the KCFD in the Ambulance repair shop, and 1 of the Chiefs here at work, commissioned me to make some calls out of some Oak for him. The Oak is from a barn he tore down on his farm in northern Missouri. This barn was built back in 1844 by slaves. Pretty cool to make something that was last worked by slaves. He gave me enough to make a few extra calls that are already sold and are in finishing stages. Had to stabilize the oak first to fill in all the worm holes. Pot calls are some of the best sounding calls I have ever made. Chief Neeleys call is grey slate over glass, Gordons is Green slate over glass. Thanks for looking.
