Title: SD prairie bird
Post by: Chad Gus715 on April 23, 2021, 10:58:44 AM
Drew a tag for one of the prairie units, been deer and antelope hunting that area off and on for the last 15 years. So i was pretty familiar with the area, I've seen birds almost every time I've hunted there. The very first spot i went to, i parked my truck and had 7 or 8 turkey's cross the trail a couple hundred yards away. They dropped down into a draw and i grabbed my stuff and circle around to try and get ahead of them. As I'm going the tom gobbled and let me know i was close, i stopped and 5 minutes later he's at 35 yards. (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210423/5667f5ec0e611f20ef07deb6908a11e7.jpg)
