Got out in between rain showers this morning and heard 3 birds hammering. First gobble was at 7:25am. Sunrise was 7:44am. It was nice to hear some! Any other Ohio reports?
Went out again this morning. Heard 4 different toms from all different directions. Also lots of hens yelping. Still have about 28 days or so.
4/5/2018. Heard 3-4 different birds this morning. 26 degrees this morning with a heavy frost. Started firing up at around 6:40am. Still about 17 days until season but I'm ready to go! :turkey2:
