How much do you think that temperature effects patterns?
Thanks
I think it effects it quite a bit, I know I see a difference when I'm shooting from 40 degrees to 60-65 degrees.
I wanted to do some more pattern testing but it is snowing here so I guess I will just wait. BigHooks what part of Tn. are you close to? I only live about a mile from the Tn line.
5yds or less. It helps to shoot your gun in various temps, so you know what to expect during the season. Wind effects patterns more than temp.
Using 3.5" 2.25oz Hevi13 #7s
32 degrees 251 in a 10" circle at 40 yards
70 degrees 324 in a 10" circle at 40 yards
