Title: "Givin Ol' Gal a few new ones"
Post by: tha bugman on May 06, 2019, 05:43:52 PM
"Ol'Gal is a Remington 870 3" gun with a 24" barrel and an Original Jellyhead choke.  I have simple non adjustable sights on this particular gun.  It does appear that a lower hold would be necessary with these loads.  Sorry for the wonky orientation.  The top pic is Winchester Longbeards 3" #6's, Middle pic is Remington Nitro 2 3/4" #5's, Bottom pic is Federal TSS 3" #9's

Those look like dead birds even the middle one didn't know a Remington turkey load could shoot that well

yeah I was surprised at that one as well.  I am going to try it again with a lower hold.  I think it will do even better then.
