Is the 8 moa better for turkey hunting over the 3 moa?

I was told buy Burris that the 3 MOA won't be out until April. Midwayusa says 3/10/12 so hopefully they are right and Burris is just being conservative on a release date.

Which is bigger?  3 MOA or 8 MOA?  Which is better for Turkey hunting?
Excuse my ignorance

I have always been taught aim small miss small so in my thinking the smaller dot is better. I am sure its personal preference

I use a Mueller Quick Shot that has both the 3 MOA and the 8 MOA.  I find the 3 MOA is a little small and I think it is a little hard to see in brighter conditions.  The 8 moa is a little too big for my liking, but is what I use mainly.  I like the 4 MOA dot in the FF II better and a 5 MOA dot may be perfect for me.
