The best Metallica albums were Ride the Lighting, Master of Puppets, and And Justice for All.  Kill 'em All was ok too.
The black album was the death of old school Metallica.  I wouldn't call these albums rock though.  Back then it was considered metal.  Now pretty much everything I hear on the radio is crap whether it's country or rock.
Thank God for SiriusXM.

I agree Kentucky.  We must not have many 80's Rock and Roll fans on this site!

I LIke a lot of types of music and I hate other types of "music", but I consistently find myself drawn back to Thelonious Monk.

I'm stuck in the 80's and 90's AC/DC put on a great concert and back in Black was my favorite album from them.My kids even like them Thunder Struck was a song they played on my sons football team.Paradise City was a good one from Guns-N-Roses. There were a lot of great bands in that era Motley Crue, Def Leopard, White Snake,Firehouse, Cinderella just to name a few more

Thunder struck is definitely a good one, so is Hells Bells. I'm going to throw in sweet child of mine from GNR.
