I'm looking to have my 870 drilled & tapped for a scope base. Any recommendations for a gunsmith who uses a jig and wont mar the camo finish? Preferably east coast, but I'll ship it anywhere.
Thanks in advance.
I would check with sumtoy customs.

^ Actually, I found a local guy. Thanks.
I was just thinking that it's not that complicated of a procedure. Although an idiot can screw anything up, any semi decent local gunsmith should be able to handle that job. I'm glad you're not having to go to the expense of shipping it off to someone.

^ Yeah I can do some minor gunsmithing, but I don't trust myself with doing a D&T being I've never done it before and I don't have the proper setup. Plus, the gunsmith I found is only about 20 minutes from me.
