Title: TK2000 - finished the FL Season
Post by: joey46 on April 23, 2018, 02:17:25 PM
On the second to last day of the FL north zone season was blessed to get one more shot with the TK.  This bird from 30 yards.  No more than being in the right place at the right time.  Again using Goex BP (100gr) and 2 1/2 oz number 6 lead.  All Knight components.  WW cap.  Decided early on this year to not play with different loads to cut the recoil.  Just going to tough it out in the future.  The full Knight recommended "hot" load does just fine.
I did switch back to my normal "kicker" load of 100gr and #6 for this last bird.  The 4/4 bird was with 90gr and #5.  No good reason.  They both did the job.  Was planning on a long shot at a pasture strutter but both shots close enough for either load.
