We did. We had several multiple beard birds that if we could have counted all the beards would have given us a bunch more points. It was as rough year for me especially after killing 3 really good birds in 2014 when others had bad luck. That is why it's a team effort. The plan is that at least part of us are going to be in the birds. When some are having it good others may have it tough. When you throw it all in the pot it makes turkey soup.cant wait to get after them.

Glad to be part of the team too. Can't wait to get after them. I've got a couple stud gobblers I hope to cross paths with. Saw them back during deer season. Killed five last year. Hoping for at least three. FC may be tougher to hunt due to the change in check-in system.
Im itching for season to start. I walked about 20 miles worth of public land yesterday and didn't see or hear much signs but I am gonna get out there early tomorrow morning and see what happens. I dropped in and talked to a land owner yesterday about hunting some of the gobblers Ive been seeing there and wouldn't you know the guy that killed that new record buck has it leased out. Some fellers get all the luck.

I killed three there last year. Two gobblers with one shot. Of course, this year they changed it to one bird per day. The third bird I killed with the bow.
That's great. This will be the first time I have hunted out there. I have a coworker who is a retired helicopter pilot that knows FC well. I am hoping to hunt some during the week out there with him.

Im picking up a canon camcorder tomorrow so hopefully ill be able to film opening day this year. The last couple years my cousin and I doubled up so it would be great to get that on film.
