I'm in search for a jam up semi auto .. I have some old Remington sooratmans but they are wall pieces now and I just want a new one. I have held both and liked them but shot neither. What's the opinions on these two? I would like some help
Both are excellent guns and you would not go wrong with either. I prefer the Benelli however. It feels better to me and has less muzzle jump than any gun I own.
I'd just choose the one that feels best to you however. Good luck and please let us know which one you choose.
Thanks,
Clark
Thanks Clark I appreciate it. I'll be seeing if I can try them out . I figured if I Had the money to spend I would buy one of the two .
the Versa Max is a really nice gun. I have one and also have a benelli M2 and I think I like the versa max better. Both great guns though I just don't like the looks of the vinci.

Thanks man , yeah I'm gonna go with the versa max. It's tight beads out well and fits me better.
I agree with Clark, both the SV and the Versa Max are good guns. I don't think you could go wrong with either. I have a regular Vinci and love it. I think it handles and looks great, not the same old generic autoloader styling.
Yeah the Vinci has really grown on my lately and even considered selling my sbe2 to get one and customize it.
An see I'm not necessarily looking for a turkey gun. I have one that does the job but a good dove or quail gun that will get down when it's hot. But the idea of having one that can handle some magnums in it is always a plus. I had heard that versa never jammed and could get down and perform.
Remington VERSA MAX SPST 12 22 RS TKMO. :icon_thumright:
Neither have a reputation of jamming. The interia system is as simple as it gets. Both are fantastic gun the versa just doesn't fit me is all
This is a versamax sportsman $849 at bass pro - Heck of a value -- it's duracoated a grey color - the fit of the other models (not sportsman) is adjustable for drop cast , and length - the recoil is very soft , the 3.5 shells feel more like 3 inch shells - absolutely love this gun and although I've never shot a super Vinci I've shot many sbe2's and prefer the versa more - but that's personal preference , you may feel likewise

The European slug gun version of the vinci has a wood grain stock, It's really looks striking! The real beauty of the vinci is it's new inertia design and ergonomics for sure. The only thing i would change is the safety, i don't really like them on front of trigger guard, but i can live with it. I love the gas design of the Versa max, but it just did not fit me as well as the Vinci did.

It is indeed! Isn't it amazing how much the color of the stock changes the total appearance? It's also available in a couple of other colors as well.
Thanks,
Clark
I have both guns and must vote for the Super Vinci
incredible shotgun that never fails me
the Versa Max is nice but not the gun the Vinci is
in my view
I am going to use the Hevishot Mid Range extended choke
this season and I cannot wait
I would be interested to know how the choke tube works for you . I like seeing good patterns.
Just tossing it out there as food for thought, but I'd pick a Super X3 over either of the other two.
