I just got a new sx3 20 ga with a 26 inch barrel. Anyone running either a Pure Gold 570, Indian creek 570 or a sumtoy 570 choke in you 20 ga  and what are your results using TSS? I just got the sx3 20 ga  and I currently am using  a sx3 12ga with the pure gold 670 with great results. Any inputs on those chokes would be appreciated and any pattern pics would be good also.

Thanks

I'm using an Indian creek 555 I have the same gun you got. I have a pair of jebs 560/565's and a sumtoy 562. With tss apex 9's shot best with the IC tube @40. But in reality if I didn't have so many tubes to try any of them I have with my gun is good enough. All I shoot at is the big turkey pic targets. I can't give you real accurate numbers but the 7&7.5's tss were  getting 145 ish @40 and the 9's was around 280? Again I'm trying to remember here but you won't be disappointed with any of the ones mentioned. I hope this helped you

My son and each have a X3-long beard 20, he shoots an Indian Creek .555 and I shoot a Truelock .585. My son likes em tight at 40 where I like some wiggle room.  We shoot Ronnys LIL Hammer load.
Don't gobble at me...

I, too, like the IC 555 out of my sx3.  Got it last season and was using Longbeard, at the time, and "smashed" 2 birds !!!  Patterned it with TSS this year and the IC 555 really did well !!!

I would go with .585 Carlson's.  SX3 20 gauge bore is .630 instead of the normal .620 for most 20s.  .555 would be smokin tight.   With Tss 9's 1 5/8oz handload the .585 did 320 in 10"/220 in 20" in my SX3 and did 280 in 10" and 250 in 20" with my brother's Browning Gold 20.

I like that 585 choke. I am going to start with a Carlson 575 choke and go from there. I don't like the pattern to tight either.
