I was out running a little hound on my beagle club. Soon as the crows set off I was almost expecting a gobble with the warm weather. Sure enough, buncha jakes gang gobbling. Still early but nice to hear.
Aways like hearing them warm up. I have a few toms behind my house I like to harrass. They are my barometer so to speak. I will never hunt them but I always have drug my boys out before season and we practice on them. No guns just call them up and teach the boys the basics.
