Looking for a loud, realistic Hawk call!! Any recommendations
Daryal Gosey
Any decent wood duck call...blow it don't chirp on it.
How do I get in touch with Daryal Gosey?
I bought a wood haven one, it just sounds like a dog whistle to me. It didn't come with any instructions and ive never found a video of someone using one so I dont know if im doing it wrong or right

Something not right here. Don't know if it's you or the call. Mine's pretty realistic
All calls have that sweet spot ..... keep after it you'll hit it.
I have used a Wingsetter duck caller with good results as a Red Tailed Hawk sound making device for over forty years. It also serves as a great kee kee caller, however it doesn't function as a hawk call any more because I have taped up one of the output holes so I can do a couple of yelps immediately following the kee Kees.
I picked up a Harrison owl screamer this year. The reed can be adjusted in the field to get hawk or woodpecker sounds.

Was looking at the Woodhaven. Found it on sale.
I have never used a hawk screamer and wondered about the results.
James Harrison makes a screamer, I think he makes two versions.
