All I can say is wow. Beautiful pots and wood, also best sounding aluminum I own up there with my Sepele Aluminum. Mahoe is just perfect. That back end you always want in a call. Can't wait to see this Prototype and try them out next year.
Mahoe+Osage.
And his 2 peice dymondwood strikers are awesome! Have 5 of his 1 peices and I reccomend getting a dymondwood 2 peice.
Pretty calls that's for sure congrats
Awesome piece of Mahoe! Two killers there! Congrats buddy
I ordered a Mahoe Crystal/ over whatever he wants to put under it along with his new prototype. I can't wait till mine get here, and seeing everyone else's orders show is making me more anxious.
Great set of calls man! That mahoe looks gorgeous. Do yourself a favor, if you don't have a Lyman dymalux striker go ahead and get one and sit back and watch them come running!!!
Well I'm officially jealous!! Snaewood AND Mahoe laminate? Hang on to that one lol I like the idea over Slate as well. He said I can have a Prototype but I still don't know what but if it's better than the 3 I have from him , I'm a happy camper. Post pics ASAP TJ
I'm on the list for Brad's proto as of 5 minute ago! Lol. From what I've picked up he's got two in two different woods. I took the easy way out and just told him whichever one sounds best to his ear, sign me up. TJ I can't not be jealous of a mahoe/snake laminate! That is going to be lights out!
I have his zebrawood...poplar...blue mahoe...black walnut...and honey locust..all in bronze glass over aluminum....and padauk and blue mahoe bronze glass over slate....they are ALL killers
Lucky man Jed, im getting the Prototype of course.both of them. He has 2  and I want the Padauk Glass Slate
I don't hear much about the Maple Aluminum over Slate 2 Sider, but it's a killer. If anyone doesn't have it yet, I HIGHLY reccomend it. Great Yelp and cuts, purrs on the back and tree yelps are amazing.
Fine pots!! Congrats!!

that Osage is a fine looking pot...i may just have to order one!
Very nice calls!
When is the new prototype supposed to hit the street? I probably should get on the list for one.
It's on the street. Got mine a week or so ago, and it's a killer!
Yup same here. Got mine a little over two weeks ago. I got the Mahoe version. Would love to see/hear someone's that got the walnut one.
That Blue Mahoe/snakewood is going to be insane TJ! Can not wait to see pics of that one!
Should b this week for me! Mahoe Padauk laminate. Sounds killller
That's a beauty beardhunter

Green slate over glass. They cluck like a real hen that's for certain.
Osage, blue mahoe aluminum, snakewood, laminate, green glass,,where are you guys seeing these calls?? I don't see any of them on the Roberts site or facebook ???
Is it just word of mouth purchasing.
Email or call Brad. He can make you just about anything you request.

X2. Brad will make you anything you want and he is one of the best guys in the turkey call business
I second this, I love everyone of my calls I have from Brad. I have a few week until I get my latest order, a all snakewood bronzed glass over aluminum. He sent me a picture of wood yesterday and I seriously can't wait to see it once it's finished
Is the bronzed glass being manufactured again by any chance? Anyone know?

That's a negative. Mexico was the last known producer, using it for windshields, and that's no more.
Just buy a coffee table and get it cut into appropriately sized discs, problem solved
Browning87 I'm a want to see that! How does he keep finding Bronzed Glass lol? I know my Walnut and Mahoe are killers

This was a order from months ago before he even knew he couldn't get anymore. We've just been waiting for the wood to be ready to be turned. I'm really excited about this one and hope it matches up well with my mahoe and zebrawood
Oh no!! That's terrible news. Thoughts and prayers to his family.

That's what I thought, but I had to ask since I have seen some more bronzed glass calls pop up recently (not just Brad's).
It's hard to believe there isn't "anything" China can't reproduce, I wonder if they are a source for bronzed glass.

It's an outdated process of tinting windows, it's not a full tint, obviously, but it's a process that was used in windshield technology that's simply outdated, and likely no longer as efficient or cost effective....
I'm not saying it couldn't be reproduced, it just likely won't be.
Does it sound that much more different than regular glass? I would like to hear a sound file of both running back and forth with the same striker and the same wood for the pots

Here soon I should be able to test this truly, but as far as same wood pots I can only compare it to glass over glass, not glass over aluminum. I'm pretty confident there's a measurable difference though. Can anyone else test this with exact pots, one bronzed glass one normal?
Own glass calls and a few bronzed glass. Don't own any of Brad's regular glass calls, but his (and others) bronzed glass calls tend to be higher pitched to me. Granted this is just my ear. Bronzed glass tends to steer closer to crystal then it does regular glass. All bronzed glass calls I own have a fairly high front end like crystal with the mellow/deep back end that regular glass calls have. Glass for me tends to be mellow all the way through. Not as shrilly. Once again this is just my personal experience and ear for what I hear when playing the ones I own. I feel sure someone has one of both and can hopefully get you a sound file. I could run a regular glass/aluminum from another maker for you next to Brad's bronzed/glass over aluminum if it doesn't play out for you to atleast give you some sort of an idea.
I agree w Coop. Bronzed Glass has a higher pitched front end which is why it's so good with a raspy Aluminum back end
