I used Butski's calls for years back in the 1980's. His "Cuttin Caller lll and lV's were my go-to calls back then. I'm not sure if Paul Butski is still making calls for commercial sale anymore. The calls in the picture appear to be of the "raspy old hen" design put out initially by Quaker Boy way-back-when.  I would guess your "old fellar" buddy (that's hitting pretty close to home  ;D ) could find something in that call design from any number of call makers that would be similar. It might take a purchase or three from a few call makers (and some tuning) to find something that would suit him.   :icon_thumright:

The cut of that call reminds me of the old boss hen from Quaker Boy calls.

Back when I used mouth calls, all I would use were Butski's. Great calls
