I have read on here the newer 3 version can have issues pulling the federal TSS. Does anyone with the original affinity have this issue as well or no? I have the original without the oversized bolt handle.
Yes. It's not unique to Gen 3's. If shells exceed a certain length as many roll-crimped 3" shells do (apparently that includes Fed tss) expect problems with cycling of the following shell from the mag to chamber.
Not that hard to fix though!!
