folks i just got my call in the mail about an hour ago, if you ain't got one you need to.  really it is one of the better mouth calls i have got in a good while.   toned just right, very easy to use.  i'm not just saying this because he sent me one for free,  i'm very particular about what goes in the vest and i have made room to add that one in.  i definetly think a guy can kill many a gobbler with it.  i guess sat. i'll see what the turkeys think of it!

Scott very good video and calling demo. Thanks for offering this to the Old gobbler members, last year I reicved the Scott Elliis with a few other of the new Energy line of calls. The Scott Ellis split V caller is my favorite out the New Energy Series of calls. They are very easy to run. I did have to trim the tape cause I like very little tape on my mouth callers. Thanks , Mike

I got my call as well. I am new to trying to get used to the mouth call, but I would have to say that this is the easiest call I have found so far to use, It also has some great rasp. It is easy to get loud with or keep it low for that close range head raising calling.

I cant wait to give her a run in the woods

Scott, I purchased your mouth call at the convention last month at the suggestion of a buddy.  It is a great sounding call!  I also purchased the Red Wasp.  I love 'em both.  In your opinion in terms of raspiness, what Woodhaven mouth call would be a tad less raspy than the Red Wasp.  Thanks in advance.

Rebel yell is correct.  Any of our Batwings, including Mithchells.  Doug Crabtree's call is jam up as well is the copperhead II.

well i just completed the southern leg of this season and lets just say the birds responded well to the call, had a lot of hens answer and come in also.

on a side note, scott why don't ya'll make a three reed youth call?  make one and i'll buy it! a three reed youth scorpion would be awesome, maybe even a scott ellis youth.  i'd love to test out a prototype.

I got the call the old fashioned way, I bought it.  At first I did not connect with it in any special way though my initial impression was that it was a very well made call.  I kept rotating it in to practice while driving, and one recent day it clicked.  Funny how that happens, and a good reason not to get frustrated and give up on a call.  I'll probably practice with it on my way home this evening.

What is different about the tape on that call?  It seems more rigid, like it will last forever.
