Title: KS and MO Birds
Post by: Turkeyman on April 23, 2016, 05:49:44 PM
Got to KS last Sunday...rain and cold thru Monday.  Started hunting Tuesday and got a 2 YO.   Nothing Wednesday then killed a good bird Thursday morning. Drove down to a buddy's place in MO in the afternoon and killed another good bird Friday morning. Due to their split season waiting for Monday morning now. One thing I discovered...it's  difficult to get good pics for the contest when hunting alone. But I'll  be posting them up when I get home.  Good luck all.

Congrats, I got a Rio in KS four years ago.  What a great state to hunt.

This is my first year using a trumpet. One thing I've discovered is how well they like the clear monotone sound.
