Can someone provide me with some idiot-proof instructions for creating and downloading soundfiles from an iPhone (specifically iPhone 6S).
Just realize as you give these instructions that are giving directions to someone that is terribly technologically impaired...
Being challenged myself - I found it easiest to get the YouTube app. Create an account / channel. Recording & editing are fairly simple. SoundCloud is probably similar? YouTube is convenient to share video or sound files... being able to text or email the link.
You use to be able too, I ended up uploading to YouTube and copy, paste the link
Voice Record Pro app

Create a dropbox account and download the app. Use your iphone voice recorder and send the files to dropbox. Then you can copy dropbox links to here or wherever you are trying to post them. Hope that helps.
I was actually pointed towards an app that comes preloaded on the iPhone. "Voice Memo" it doesn't distort the sound at all like many recording apps do.
Been very pleased with it, and it allows you to share straight from the app.
This seems like the ticket. I'll have to try that app, thanks.
