I'll put this one here. :)
What a day! Beautiful Spring weather and a monumental father and son double. The birds wanted to play today, cranked on the roost and gobbling all morning. The first set up called em in just out of sight, they were hammering. They walked off and had other plans. We called em back and thought it was going to happen. No dice. Again, They had other plans.... This time walking off pretty far. We were barley hearing them. We changed the direction of our attack, moving a couple of hundred yards in the direction we thought they might have went. We call, Cut,cut, cut, yelp yelp. Grrrrrr Obble Obble Obble! Cutting us off. A quick set up on the same tree for a Righty and Lefty. They cut the distance.... Confirming they were commited. Grrrrrr Obble Obble Obble! Soft call clucks and purrs sealed the deal. Jr on the back side of the tree, I say, are you up? Yea, You on Him? Yea! OK, @35 BOOM! BOOM!
Thank You

Truly Blessed JimBo! We love doing what we do and it feels great to contribute. I can honestly say... After the last two seasons, I felt a little pressure this year. LOLOLOL! Then I catch myself.... After all it's only turkey hunting ;D its not like the house is on fire :funnyturkey:
Wow. You are correct. What a great day. Congrats.
Great work on the double with your son. And a great bird as well. That is something I've never done. Wildspur and I had the chance once when we were teenagers, but after we shot, his bird was flopping, and mine was gone ???????

Solid scoring bird TSR!
Congratulations on a hunt well done!
