Interested in a crystal pot, had a holloran mistress years ago that was a killer, had several since that just weren't the same. I have a stoned aluminum that's ok. I haven't been staying up with the call makers much, looking for suggestions for a new pot. Thanks

Brad Roberts makes one of the best crystals going!
Have run several really good crystal calls in the past 3 years. Lots of good call makers here on the board that should be considered and not overlooked.
One of my favorites with more kills than any other pot I have is a Twisted Sister.
Oak Ridge - Jimmy Schaffer is one of the more well known call makers. One of my favorites is his Mad Hen 1. The one that is crystal over glass with the glass wrapped in copper vinyl. Could kick myself for letting it go last spring.

Then I'd look at Nathan Taylor Higher Calling or Jimmy Schaffer's Mad Hen 1 & 2

I would get another crystal mistress. Hard to improve on that call.

Yea dustin makes some awesome calls. His green slate is crazy good. I might have to order one of those crystals myself.

Schaffer Blue Mahoe Crystal!!!
Lonzo (Lone trice) in Bronwood, GA makes an excellent crystal call. I was running one in the house and my daughter told me that it ought to be against the law to take that call to the woods. Of course he also makes a really good , glass, red slate, green slate, and grey slate pot.

I would highly recommend you reach out to Paul Durham. I have a crystal over slate in Shedua that is as good as it gets.

I would like to add Steve Morgenstern to the list. I have a sycamore crystal over slate with snakewood laminates that just is awesome.
I have a Gooserbat Crystal in a cherry pot I like a lot. Plays easy with several different strikers.

I agree. His walnut green slate is awesome and is one of my favorite calls
I like my halloran crystal mistress and twisted sister but id take my ss custom crystal heat over both of them. I havent killed a turkey with any of those calls but for some reason i just prefer the crystal heat
If you don't have a Gooserbat High Standard Crystal, your really missing out.
