I'm looking to take the class and get certified but it seems like there are a ton of online schools offering all the same stuff. Any help would be appreciated.
No experience here really, but if it is like most things in the construction industry the requirements needed to become licensed will be governed by either the county or state you will be working in. I would start there and then usually the governing agency will have a list of approved courses.

I took my test 15 years ago , this was before the on line classes where available. I went to a assisted study class in my state . The test itself was pretty tuff .
