Remember the cuts that Knight & Hale would put in their latex for tubes calls? - see first pic.
I think I've figured out how to almost duplicate it.
I used a Dental Dam hole puncher to put holes in the latex then laid a straight edge over the middle of the holes and cut with a rotary cutter. Got one for about $25 on ebay
What does it do for the playability and sound of the call?

Honestly I like my latex better without the cuts as they seem to limit what I can do on a tube but I'll keep experimenting
